Já passou pelo problema de ter de exibir um determinado item da Ribbon do SharePoint para um usuário e esconder este mesmo item para outro? Este documento ensina como fazer sumir todo o bloco ‘Conectar e Exportar’, como pode ser visto abaixo.

Passo a passo
1 - O ID Ribbon.List.Actions refere-se às opções de ‘Conectar
e Exportar’ do Ribbon.
2 - Para acessar isto via CSS é importante que se use o
caracter de escape ‘\.’ para escapar o ponto. Neste primeiro trecho o item da
Ribbon é escondido para todos.
3 – Utilize o SPSecurityTrimmedControl deve ser colocado por
fora da Tag Style. O SPSecurityTrimmedControl escreve na tela a tag ‘’,
algo que pode atrapalhar. Fique atento quanto a isto.
4 – Configure o SPSecurityTrimmedControl com o
PermissionString que você desejar. A seguir pode-se ver a lista com todos os
permissionStrings.
5 – Insira no interior do SPSecurityTrimmedControl uma tag
Style com o CSS para exibir o Ribbon.List.Actions, opcionalmente.
6 – Pode testar.
